EVESHAM’s High Street welcomed a new business as The Gallery Properties opened its doors following a relocation.
Owners Mariola Rusiecka and Lukasz Rusiecki, previously based in Port Street and trading as Evesham Letting Agents, moved their business to the historic Dresden House.
As well as re-branding the business, Mariola and Lukasz are also branching out into property sales as well as lettings and also commercial property as well as residential.
Lukasz and Mariola took the brave choice to move from Poland in 2004 and set up a new life in the UK.
The pair will also manage the whole of Dresden House which will be the base for their new showroom.
“We are delighted to be managing the building and proud to help bring it back to its formal glory,” Lukasz said.
“There is plenty to do in the property. Anyone that has been inside will remember the wood paneling on the wall and original features, all of which are being restored and renovated by hand,” he added.
Town MP Nigel Huddleston and Shawn Riley from Wychavon attended the opening and had a tour of the building.
“Lukasz and Mariola bring experience and entrepreneurial flair to their business,” Mr Huddleston said.
“This is a real success story and it is good to see a local business expanding and to see this amazing historic building being so beautifully restored.”
