Asparamancer predicts 'This Morning' victory after TV appearance

THE VALE’S very own Asparamancer has successfully predicted ITV’s ‘This Morning’ would triumph at the National Television Awards.

Jemima Packington, who is originally from Pershore, appeared on the hit magazine programme yesterday (20th January) where she was quizzed on her future predicting abilities by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Using Vale of Evesham asparagus, Jemima claims to be the only person in the world to be able to predict the future by using the vegetable.

The so-called Asparamancer was asked by a sceptical Phillip to predict who would win the ‘Live Magazine Show’ category, in which ‘This Morning’ was up against the likes of ‘BBC Breakfast,’ ‘The One Show,’ and ‘Loose Women.’

Jemima then tossed the asparagus onto the table and claimed the direction the green vegetable landed predicted the ITV show would win the award.

And her prediction became reality when Philip and Holly collected the trophy at the glitzy awards ceremony at London’s O2 Arena last night (20th January).
