Two arrested after Vale police chase

TWO men have been arrested following a police pursuit through the centre of Evesham in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

West Mercia Police said a red Suzuki estate crashed into two parked cars, a Nissan Micra and and an Alfa Romeo between 12.45am and 12.51am this morning.

Officers attempted to stop the red Suzuki estate on suspicion of speeding but the car failed to pull over, leading to a pursuit.

The parked cars were damaged following the collision and a 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and criminal damage and the 18-year-old passenger on suspicion of possession of a class B drug, cannabis.




Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue service also attended the scene.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses and anyone with information can contact them on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident reference 11S290115.
