I AM told that Spring has come, but as I write, there is snow on the ground and it is damp and cold.
Over the past few weeks, we have been cheered by the amazing displays of Snowdrops in our gardens, parks and churchyards.
The Daffodils are now appearing, followed by the Tulips to cheer us on our way.
It is of course the wonder of nature which is ours to behold and be thankful for.
Whatever the weather, be it cold or warm, these bulbs continue, in their seasons, to brighten up our days as they appear in their beauty in our landscape.
It is amazing how even after the worst of weather throughout the Winter that these small bulbs can burst forth in all their splendour to brighten our days.
Jesus Christ told His Disciples not to worry when He told them “To consider the Lilies of the field which do not labour or spin, but yet even King Solomon in all his splendour was not dressed like one of these.”
God has created all these wonders of nature for us to be thankful for, as we consider their appearance from out of the hard, dark earth into such beauty for us to enjoy.
