AS I WRITE this week’s column, it is now nearly halfway through the year, and I wonder where the past few months have gone.
When I was a young man, older people told me that time seemed to drag as they got on in years, but I find that it is the opposite now that I am older for the weeks seem to pass by so quickly.
Of course, time does not alter for each hour is made up of sixty minutes and each day comprises twenty-four hours and each week is seven days as it always has been and will be for the rest of time.
Timing is always important as we must meet deadlines and appointments in our daily lives. How often do we see people rushing here and there constantly looking at their watches?
Time is always important to God for we read in the Bible on so many occasions, “That at just the right time God came into many of the situations in the lives of the Biblical characters”.
There will always be times in our lives when we need a word of encouragement or guidance, and we can experience those times when we come to God in prayer through His Son Jesus Christ
