THE OTHER day at the Computer Club I attend we were talking about how many passwords get cracked by the hackers enabling them to obtain people’s details.
We were shown a list and it is amazing how many millions of computer users have passwords that are easily cracked.
The instructor then gave us a web address that we could use to check if our own passwords had been hacked.
I typed in my e-mail address and was really pleased to read that I had not been compromised in any way.
I live in an area where the Internet is so slow that it is almost quicker to send a pigeon, but seriously I do not know what I would do without my Internet access.
Sadly though, with so many ways of communicating via the Internet, we can leave ourselves open to all kinds of problems if we are not careful.
Who is listening or watching what I do on my phone or my computer?
Unless I speak out loud, my prayer to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, is confidential.
I am so thankful that I do not need a complicated password or pin number to be able to speak to the Heavenly Father.
People often say that they find it difficult to pray so that is why,
Jesus taught his disciples to pray by giving them the example known as The Lord’s Prayer, that we still use today.
Try using it to help you pray.
