Something to Think About

SCIENTISTS at Liverpool University’s School of Engineering have been working on a Robot Road Repairer for the past four years.

The unmanned vehicles, which can travel at between 30mph and 50 mph are expected to be detecting faults and repairing our roads by the end of next year.

Judging by the state of many of our roads that will not be too soon.

Travelling at those speeds will the first of their speeding tickets be given by ‘Robocop’?

In today’s world it is amazing what is being done by robots and how much we depend upon them.

My late father in law was a farmer and I often wonder how he would cope if he was brought back to a modern-day farm, today?

Jesus Christ often spoke about farmers, especially shepherds and their sheep and I expect if he was on earth today, he would bring us up-to- date stories from the land to illustrate his messages.

Whilst the world around us has changed so dramatically, the message of the Good News of the Gospel, which Jesus brought all those years ago, is still so relevant for us today.

That message of love, joy and peace is ideal for us to overcome all the ‘potholes’ in our daily lives.
