Plum role for newly crowned princess

Evesham Editorial 31st Jul, 2014 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THE SUN shone on a plethora of potential purple princesses at the Plum Princess Garden Party at the Angel Hotel in Pershore.

During the fun afternoon on Sunday (July 27), entertainment was provided by Pershore Brass and Grannys’ Attic, as well as face painting, balloon modelling and children’s’ games.

The competition to be the 2014 Plum Princess was incredibly tight, and the judges, which included Henry Sandon MBE had an almost impossible task to choose the successful contenders.

Nine-year-old Analeise Cooper from Drakes Broughton was crowned Plum Princess along with her attendants Ella Townend and Lilly Adams both nine and from Pershore.

One of the first duties that Analeise, Ella and Lilly will be undertaking is at the Official Festival launch in Plum Alley tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am.
