ONE person had to be taken to hospital following a four car crash in Cropthorne.

Fire crews from Evesham and Pershore were called to Main Road, just outside the New Inn Pub, at about 8.20am today (Thursday) to make the vehicles safe.

It’s believed the four cars drove into the back of each other, according to a West Midlands Ambulance spokesman.

Seven people were involved in the incident, including one man who was taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service after complaining of neck pain.

Four people were left uninjured, whilst two were treated at the scene but were later discharged.

On Twitter, Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said: “HW Fire Pershore & HW Fire Evesham assist Police to make safe scene of RTC involving 4 cars Evesham Road, Cropthorne.”
