A Christmas Message from Wychavon District Council

Evesham Editorial 25th Dec, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THIS YEAR has not been an easy one for many people and it seems that as one problem gets solved another takes its place.

However, this country has, as always, had enormous resilience to cope.  I am confident with the help and support of the wonderful community spirit and volunteer networks that exist in the district of Wychavon, residents will continue to enjoy life in this lovely area.

I am also sure no one will forget the dedication of our armed forces away from home or the plight of refugees fleeing violence, the like of which I hope none of us will ever have to experience.

Take care of each other and perhaps pop round to have a chat and smile with a neighbour.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy festive season together with a peaceful and healthy new year and would only ask you to please allow the spirit of Christmas to last throughout the year.

Coun Val Wood

Chairman, Wychavon District Council
