A PERSHORE businesswoman has rejoined the Worcestershire Ambassadors with a pledge to help promote the successes of businesses across Wychavon.

The Worcestershire Ambassadors promote life in the county, helping to encourage inward investment and develop the area’s economic prosperity. The group, which was formed 18 years ago, also fundraises for a variety of local charities and good causes.

Ruby Edwards was welcomed back and presented with her pack by fellow Ambassador Steve Descher this week.

“I’m delighted to join in again with the good work of this group of Worcestershire leaders. With a number of new projects being launched in the Wychavon area soon, it’s an exciting time to be working in collaboration with so many brilliant Worcestershire-based businesses.”

Phil Dutton, chairman of the Worcestershire Ambassadors added: “Ruby has always been somebody I have admired. I am delighted she has rejoined and look forward to supporting her ambitions in Wychavon.”

Ms Edwards launched You Do Better – a Pershore-based public relations agency – in 2017 and has grown the business extensively with clients in the local area but also across wider regions.

The Worcestershire born business woman also runs Funny Blood to raise awareness of her son’s rare blood condition, signpost information and fundraise for the haemophilia unit at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The You Do Better team are involved with a number of new local challenges and have a firm partnership with local phenomenon #WorcestershireHour.

They will be event managing the fifth annual Festival of Business at the Chateau Impney on Friday and are in a strong position to support businesses across Worcestershire with their PR and communication needs.
