THE SIXTH annual Hampton Ferry Show was hailed a huge success after providing another action-packed family fun-day.
Evesham residents were treated to a wide range of activities including a climbing wall, circus skills, art workshops and a bouncy castle on Sunday (August 2).
An array of music from Elvis Presley tribute act Andy Kelso, Evesham singer songwriter Colin Pitts and W Factor finalists got feet tapping, while
The Mezzos, Elaine and her Line Dancers and Zumba sessions by The Health Hub, kept the rhythm going throughout the day.
Evesham Martial Arts Club were also in attendance to show off their moves and youngsters got the chance to have free tennis lessons from Inspire2Coach, before the popular Novelty Dog Show rounded off the event.
Fiona Narburgh, head of strategy and communications at Wychavon District Council, said “We enjoy supporting events like this through our ‘Get Wychavon Active’ programme, and children love the fun activities we provide.
Show organiser Fran Webb said: “Evesham has a wealth of talent and the event just gets better and better.
“Charities who were present at the show managed to raise around £1,000.
“Anyone who didn’t come along missed a fantastic day, but there’s always next year!”’
