Something to Think About

Something to Think About Something to Think About

LAST Friday one of the daily newspapers had a large photograph of the White Cliffs of Dover with the caption that they were to be painted white using skilled painters and thousands of litres of paint.

The readers were then instructed to turn to another page for the best times and places to see the work being carried out.

On turning to that page we were informed that it was ‘an April Fool’ joke.

I read recently of a man who received his employers ‘Humility Badge’ for his humbleness of character in the workplace.

A week later it was taken from him because he was wearing the badge. These two incidents beg the question, what is reality?

We have recently celebrated Easter, the time when Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and rose again, but for those and the following days, what must the disciples have been thinking?

What is reality?

Today, of course, we know the full story, but they were living confused lives without their leader and with the loss of his direction.

Many people today are in similar situations not knowing which way to go and not able to make the correct decisions for their lives.

What is reality?

So often we are rushing here, there and everywhere and the true reality is blocked out by the clamour of the world around us.

Over the next few days let us stop, read the bible and consider the reality of our lives and turn to Jesus Christ for help.
