CARING staff and students at Prince Henry’s High School handed over a cheque for £882.72 to members of Evesham’s Royal British Legion (RBL).
The cash was raised during an Evening of Remembrance on November 10 as students remembered the outbreak of the First World War.
Students performed a range of songs, drama, music, poetry and other readings related to the war and its impact.
A moving evening culminated in the Last Post which saw RBL members, junior cadets and two Chelsea Pensioners come together on stage and join the audience in a one minute silence.
