Workies stun in-form Inkberrow

EVESHAM WMC ended Inkberrow’s perfect Evesham & District Sunday League Division One record with a convincing 4-0 away win through doubles from prolific duo Sam Ford and Elliott Grady.

Bretforton Old Boys had to work hard to overcome Offenham Rovers 3-2 through Ryan Cantrill (2) and Jamie Clarke, with Reagan Martin and Joshua Burford scoring for Rovers.

TDMS Harvington recorded a second successive league win as they defeated New Inn Pershore 3-2 with goals from Luke Woodfield, Adam Stanley and Ryan Attwood. New Inn’s goals came from Jack Hughes and Kyle Ballard.

George Lewis and Alfie Barnes netted for Mickleton Rangers in their 2-1 win at Alderton.




Both Broadway teams recorded wins in Division Two, as United won 7-3 against Drakes Broughton Rangers. Charlie Stock (3), Max Tarry, Dan Williams, Jamie Lee amd Louis Sutton scored for United, with Matt Greenwood (2) and Tom Daffin on target for Rangers.

Jason Horsburgh netted four goals as Broadway Athletic won an ill-tempered game 5-2 at Bear.


Max Ferriday and Cameron Dickenson scored for unbeaten Fladbury in their 2-0 victory over Ashton 88.

TDMS Evesham and Stratford HGC drew 4-4, with Tom Dixon scoring twice for TDMS and Joshua Barbor matching the feat for Stratford.

Harvington Harriers and Stour Excelsior drew 3-3 as Harriers’ goals came from Nathan Lewis (2) and Rhys Warner, with Stour scoring through Patrick Ross (2) and Thomas Wright.

In Division Three, Vale United went goal crazy against Bengeworth with an 11-0 victory. The Badsey-based team’s goals came from Joshua Grice (3), Paul Law (3), Chris Ainsworth (2), Louis Hughes (2) and Keiren White.

Improving Titans defeated Bredon 2-0 as George Mallory and Matt Deakin scored, whilst Ryan Harper and Matthew Butler were amongst the goals as Tewkesbury Athletic won 3-0 at Bidford Juniors.

Ashton 88 Reserves inflicted a first league defeat on Asum Athletic who were beaten 2-0 by goals from Adam Draper and Lewis Carter, whilst Stour Excelsior Reserves and Dragons drew 2-2.
