ROB BUTCHER was victorious when 21 Evesham Jubilee Angling Society members visited Moorlands Farm to fish the Bank and Island pools.
Butcher, drawn on Island 25, won the match and the Island pool by weighing in 46lb 2oz, while Andy Mitchell on Bank peg eight won the Bank pool with 40lb 2oz.
Section winners on the Bank pool were Bob Evans (39lb 6oz) and Steve Dobbs (33lb 7oz) and on the Island pool section winners were Tony Hemming (31lb 5oz) and Alan Gardner (10lb 5oz).
ALL Evesham Jubilee AS members are encouraged to attend this year’s annual general meeting on Tuesday, March 13 (8pm) at Hampton Working Men’s Club.
Should any member wish to bring a table of motion to the meeting or wish to stand for an officer/committee member position, they need to inform the secretary with a proposer and seconder in writing seven days before the meeting.
Cup and trophy holders should return these to a committee member as soon as possible to enable them to be engraved with this year’s winners.
