EVESHAM Wheelers hosted their annual Audax events from Wickhamford on Sunday that saw entrants travel from as far afield as Kent.
For the first time in three years riders were blessed with a fine, sunny day for the duration of the event.
There were several distance options on offer from the shortest family-friendly 50km route to the ultimate challenge – The 213km Neville Chanin Memorial ride – that saw riders travel through the Forest of Dean to Chepstow, over the Severn Bridge and return through the scenic valleys of Woodchester and Stroud, testing riders with a gruelling 10,000ft of climbing.
