GLORIOUS weather greeted members when president Grahame Jones sent down the traditional lignum bowl to signal the Littleton Bowling Club green open.
Sixty-plus members then joined in for a ‘roll-up’ including seven new bowlers in attendance for their first time on the outdoor green, which bowled particularly well considering the recent poor weather.
The club has a full programme over the season with games against many local clubs, some denoted as friendlies, as well as competitive league matches and three against touring sides which are always great fun.
