CADWELL Park in Lincolnshire yielded another profitable return for Evesham racer Olly Turner who extended his British Racing and Sports Car Club Fiesta Junior Championship lead with two unquestionable victories.
Qualifying in position two, Turner, with ongoing support from goodsign.co.uk which had previous experience of racing at the circuit, was looking forward to having a good couple of races at this most demanding and technical of circuits.
Samco Sport-supported driver Turner got off to a good start whilst others did not and soon took the lead.
Turner extended his advantage over the next couple of laps to nine seconds before the race was discontinued due to an incident on the track. The race was eventually restarted and Turner, of Jamsport Racing, slotted into second place before putting on the pressure on the leader.
With a lap to go Turner was able to capitalise on the driver in front’s mistake and crossed the line victorious.
In race two, Turner, backed by Autoenginuity of Evesham, was in the front row yet again and slotted into second place by the first corner, knowing he had the pace to put on a good show.
Overtaking on the goose neck, Turner took the lead within the first lap and quickly following was the original pole position rival.
From there the two quickest drivers of the meeting extended their lead away from the rest of the field. Turner was able to drive consistent fast laps and was untouchable as he took first place again.
