Trio to make debuts in clash of the Warriors

THREE more of Warriors’ summer recruits will have their first outings for the club in Friday’s friendly against Glasgow Warriors in ‘The Clash’ at Sixways (kick-off 7pm).

Wales international hooker Scott Baldwin, who has arrived at Sixways from Gallagher Premiership champions Harlequins, will start along with former England scrum-half Willi Heinz, who has joined Warriors from Gloucester.

A third new recruit, former Bath Rugby, Exeter Chiefs and Newcastle Falcons scrum-half Will Chudley, is also in line to play his first match for Warriors having been named among the replacements.

Warriors welcome back club captain Ted Hill from an ankle injury which he sustained training with England in July and England centre Ollie Lawrence, who scored his first international try in England’s win over USA at Twickenham in the first of the summer internationals.

Number eight Kyle Hatherell, who made his Warriors debut last season having arrived from Jersey Reds, is the other change to the starting XV that featured in last week’s win over Connacht Rugby at Sixways.

The replacements in the 30-man squad include England Under-20s loosehead prop Lewis Holsey, tighthead prop Jay Tyack, back-row forward Morgan Monks, Wales international centre Ashley Beck and back-row forward Caleb Montgomery, none of whom were involved against Connacht.
