THE SPOILS were shared in this entertaining encounter on Saturday which saw both keepers kept busy throughout and the visitors snatch a point with nine men.

The visitors edged the first half before Town had the better of the second.

Eddie Wynne-Wilson scored after 11 minutes from a direct free kick from the edge of the box to give the visitors the lead.

Town equalised through Sean Cooke who finished from close range having been set up by Ben Lane, who dispossessed Heather’s defender to square for Cooke.

Town took the lead after 70 minutes when substitute Steve Roche back-heeled a ball in mid-air into Jamie Clarke’s path and the latter rounded the keeper to score.

In the closing minutes the match became feisty as Heather had two players sent off, firstly Dominic Burrows for hauling Clarke to the ground before one of Heather’s substitutes also saw red card in the aftermath.

However, the visitors snatched a point in the final minute when a cross into the box was steered home by Jake Healy who turned his defender to score from close range.

Town travel to Studley on Saturday.
