DIVISION Two outfit TDMS Harvington lifted the Evesham Sunday League Bluck Cup for the first time after defeating third division side Stratford HGC 2-1 in an entertaining encounter at Littleton FC on Sunday.

Luke Woodfield was the hero as he bagged a goal in each half either side of a Harvey Moon goal for Stratford. With two league matches to play, TDMS Harvington could also clinch promotion to Division One.

Broadway United Reserves clinched a top two finish in Division Two and, with their superior goal difference, all but clinched the title with a 2-1 victory over visitors Alderton. Craig Burtenshaw and David Cole scored for Broadway.

Bretforton Old Boys Reserves are second following a comfortable 6-0 home win over Charlton Fladbury, whilst County Cup finalists Cropthorne defeated visitors Fortis 5-3 as Leon Williams netted four and John Boother also scored for the hosts. Leon Napper (2) and Dan Paul struck for Fortis.

Pebworth were crowned Division Three champions when TDMS Evesham failed to win their final match at home to Dragons. The young academy side had to settle for runners-up spot as a result of a 2-0 defeat.

Ashton 88 finished third following a 3-1 home victory over Alcester Town in which Will Stevens, Graham Begley and Shaun Bennett scored for Ashton and Jack Fisher netted for Alcester.

Strawberry Field United closed their campaign with a 6-3 home win over Bengeworth (6-3) in which Callum Mason (2), Doug Wallace (2), Jack Maisey and Keiron Downey scored for Strawberry and Rob Burford, Chris Sharp and Paul Law struck for Bengeworth.

In an historic night for the league – providing both finalists in the WFA Sunday Junior Cup Final at Bromsgrove Sporting FC – a first half double from Will Gayton was enough to earn Bretforton Old Boys a deserved 2-0 win over Evesham WMC to complete the third leg of what would be an unprecedented quadruple.

The league season will conclude on Sunday (2pm) at Littleton FC with the Mick Godwin Cup final between Evesham WMC and Offenham Rovers.
