WITH just four finals left in this year’s Wychavon Parish Games, there is still everything to play for before the overall results are announced.
The final of the skittles took place last Friday at Pershore Sports Club between Eckington and Pershore Holy Cross and this turned out to be an excellent, closely-contested match.
With the lead changing hands a number of times, there was all to play for in the final leg. However, Eckington proved too strong in this final leg and managed to retain their title, leaving Pershore Holy Cross as runners-up.
The final of the dominoes takes place at the Bell Inn in Eckington tonight (Monday) between Eckington and Hill and Moor.
On Wednesday, the final of the crib will be held at Broadway Bowling Club between Broadway and Honeybourne.
Sunday brings the final of the men’s darts in which Evesham Bengeworth take on Offenham and the pool final will be held on Monday, November 11 between Eckington and Evesham Bengeworth. Both will be held at Bretforton Sports Club.
The presentation evening is on November 21 at Bretforton Sports Club and all participants are invited.
