PERSHORE High School sixth-former Ruth Bennett produced a fine performance at the European Canoe Association Canoe Sprint Juniors & U23 European Championship in Belgrade, Serbia.
The 18-year-old, who lives in Pershore, finished seventh in the B final of the 500m and paddled another personal best in the 200m semi-final, just missing out on the final.
