Robins freeze season ticket prices as new faces arrive

Evesham Editorial 14th Jun, 2017   0

EVESHAM United have frozen season ticket prices for the 2017/18 campaign.

Available now, an adult ticket will cost £140 (saving £49) and a concession £95 (saving £31). A seat in the main stand can be reserved for the season at an additional cost of £10.

Supporters can buy season tickets by contacting Mike Peplow on 07889 011539.

Meanwhile, the Robins have continued their recruitment ahead of the new Southern League Division One South & West season by signing striker Greg Peel.

Boss Paul Collicutt is delighted to snap up the 22-year-old, saying: “Greg came to my attention at Larkhall last season and is a great signing for the club.

“He’s tall, mobile and will offer us something different up top. I watched him three times last season and he impressed me every time.

“Greg played against us last season and caused us more problems than any other striker in the league. Our supporters will take to him immediately and he will become a firm favourite with everyone at the club.

“I’m excited to have Greg on board and can’t wait to start working with him.”

The arrival of Peel, whose previous clubs include Fleetwood Town, Carlisle United youth team and Waterford United of Ireland, follows the capture of Evesham-based defender Jordan Lymn.

The 19-year-old was previously with Cheltenham Town, during which time he had loan spells at Bishops Cleeve, Shortwood United and North Leigh.

Other new signings already on board are defender/midfielder Mat Liddiard who has arrived from Cirencester Town where he was captain, Shortwood United skipper and left-sided player Matt Bennett and former Cinderford Town defender Nick Rhodes.
