THE FORMIDABLE pairing of Marlene Billings and Lesley Curnock won Evesham Golf Club ladies’ Huntington Cups competition with an impressive 82 points on Tuesday.
In blustery conditions, hampered by showers, golfers were drawn in pairs to play the foursomes strokeplay format and the event was keenly contested.
Runners-up with 83 points were Audrey Tomkins and Jenny Masser.
