WILL READING took top spot when 61 Vale Golf Club seniors contested the Esmund Jago Trophy.

The competition was won with the outstanding score of 42 points by Reading who was presented with the Esmund Jago Trophy by Vale seniors vice-captain Andy Jinks.
Division One winner was Steve Kirby (35 points), followed by Ian Macrae (34) and John Eastoe (33).
Division Two was topped by Brian Leggott (38), ahead of David Hudson (36) and, on countback, Brian Sidaway and Ian Phillips (33).
Division Three was won by Reading, followed by Mike Dean (34) and, on countback, Geoff Wilson and Mike Spittle (33).
