RACING - Power Maxed Racing endure tough weekend in BTCC

EVESHAM-based Power Maxed Racing endured a tough weekend at Croft Circuit in the British Touring Car Championship.

Ash Hand secured the team’s highest finish in race three when he crossed the line 13th having placed 18th and 17th in races one and two.

Teammate Michael Crees suffered the misfortune of a puncture along with suspension and wheel damage in a miserable weekend as he finished 16th in race one and was unable to finish the other two races.

The results mean Hand in now directly above Crees in 18th place in the driver standings on 34 points with the latter in 19th on 27 points.

The BTCC resumes in Scotland at Knockhill on the weekend of July 30/31.
