RACING - Hand ends weekend on high for Power Maxed Racing

POWER Maxed Racing driver Ash Hand finished the latest round of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) on a high after securing a top-10 finish at Oulton Park.

Hand overcame a difficult start to the weekend with a DNF in race one and 22nd place finish in race two to come home ninth in race three and match his highest finish of the season so far.

Teammate Michael Crees did well to finish 14th in race one and 13th in race two having qualified in 20th only to suffer a DNF in race three.

And those results mean Hand is in 16th place in the driver standings on 31 points whilst Crees sits 18th on 27 points with the Evesham-based team ninth in the team standings on 60 points.

The next race weekend takes place on June 25 and 26 at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire.
