CONSISTENCY was the key for Team Pershore High School at the District Cross Country Championships as six runners qualified for the forthcoming County Championships in Bromsgrove.
Highlights included year nine’s Josh Noon finishing second in the junior boys’ race and year eight duo Owen Kirby and Jack Kehoe finishing in a very respectable seventh and eighth respectively.
Jasmine Franks continued flying the Pershore flag with a very good performance to finish sixth in the junior girls’ race.
Year ten pairing Elise Blake and Alice Patterson were third and fourth respectively in the intermediate girls’ race to complete the Pershore success story.
One of the Pershore runners is unable to compete at the County Championships, so five will represent the school at county level.
