PERSHORE host Astwood Bank on Saturday in a potential winner-takes-all Worcestershire League Cup Group B finale.
The table-topping Plums are in pole position with a 14-point advantage having won eight of their nine games, including Saturday’s crushing victory at Belbroughton.
Skipper Chris Ridings struck a blistering unbeaten 106 off just 78 balls as Pershore made 338-5 off their 40 overs.
Paddy Thompson took 4-58 and Liam Ridings 2-9 off a miserly eight overs as the hosts were dismissed for 176 in 38 overs.
However, second-placed Astwood Bank kept the pressure on with their seventh victory of the campaign and know a win at The Bottoms on Saturday – along with Pershore failing to take six or more points from the game – would clinch top spot and a play-off place for the Bankers.
Openers Rob West (71) and Tom Pedley (59) led the way for Bank in their 129-run victory at Feckenham as the visitors posted 239-9.
The Millers were then dismissed for 110 in just 24 overs as Tom Harris (4-21) and Dan Taylor (3-18) starred.
