OVERBURY C were victorious on home soil at the annual South Worcestershire Triples League Gala Day on Sunday.
This day-long event usually consists of ten teams from the five different bowling clubs which make up the league and each side plays five matches of eight ends.
This year, hosts Overbury came to the rescue and helped out by entering four teams due to Pershore B and Aston Somerville B each failing to provide a playing squad.
Despite a little rain falling towards the end of the event, the day went to schedule and was well managed under the watchful eye of Neil Williams.
Bredon A finished runners-up.
