THE final two one-day events have taken place in this year’s Wychavon Parish Games.
Some 16 Parishes took part in the senior table tennis event, sponsored by Beswicks Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Service.
In the semi-finals, the two most recent winners of the event, Sedgeberrow and Evesham South, went head-to-head with Harvington and Broadway contesting the other.
Sedgeberrow then met Harvington in the final as brothers Rick and Matt Hartwell guided Sedgeberrow to victory.
The other Parishes to take part were Wyre Piddle, Evesham Bengeworth, Wick, Ashton-under-Hill, Crowle, South Littleton, Fladbury, Norton and Lenchwick, Hill and Moor, North and Middle Littleton, Evesham Twyford and Inkberrow.
And the junior table tennis event also took place, sponsored by Vic Haines Transport, with eight teams in action.
Wyre Piddle, South Littleton, Fladbury and Wick contested the semi-finals with the latter Parish competing in the event for the first time.
And South Littleton came out on top against Wick in the final as Ruby Hawkins-Pitts and Archer Pilling proved too strong for Josh Pengilley and Riley Preece-Hill.
Elsewhere, the knockout events have all reached the semi-final stage.
Evesham Bengeworth and Sedgeberrow will contest the crib final, sponsored by Broadway Parish Council, while Evesham Bengeworth and Bretforton will play out the ladies darts final, sponsored by the Valkyrie Bar.
And Bretforton and Sedgeberrow will also contest the dominoes final.
