NEW Evesham Golf Club lady captain Eunice Allen was greeted by a sunny morning for her drive-in on Tuesday.
Eunice drove three superb drives down the first fairway which landed near the feet of Lesley Curnock, Beryl Osborne and Jill Cleary.
After a photo shoot in front of the clubhouse, 25 ladies then continued to enjoy the beautiful weather when they played a Bogey competition.
Not for the faint-hearted, this strokeplay competition is somewhat difficult to understand as players play against the course – scoring either a plus, level or minus.
The winner was Ruth Masters with plus four, second was Eunice Allen with plus one and third was Jenny Masser with a level score.
