POWER Maxed Racing’s drivers achieved four top-10 finishes in the team’s best performance of this season’s British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Thruxton.
Aron Taylor-Smith was the star driver for the Evesham-based team after he secured three top-1o finishes having qualified eighth.
And Mikey Doble also achieved a top-10 finish in race one after qualifying fourth whilst the team’s other driver, Andrew Watson, qualified seventh in a difficult weekend.
Taylor-Smith dropped a place to finish ninth in race one before he then came home eighth in race two and produced a season’s best performance to place sixth in race three.
Doble dropped from fourth on the grid to eighth at the end of race one and finished the weekend with consecutive 14th place finishes.
Watson impressed to qualify seventh but endured a tough weekend as he finished 18th, 16th and 13th across the three races.
The results mean Taylor-Smith sits 13th in the drivers standings on 52 points with Doble further back in 18th on 24 points and Watson in 20th on 20 points.
In the team standings, Power Maxed sit eighth on 97 points.
