FORMER Littleton favourite Joe Lolley will be returning to the Vale this month to face his old side when he turns out for Championship outfit Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly.
Redditch-born Lolley, who left Littleton in July 2013 to join Conference Premier side Kidderminster Harriers, subsequently signed for the Terriers in a six-figure deal in January and has already made six appearances and scored one goal for Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old striker/winger was a talisman for Littleton, scoring 88 goals in 83 games during his spell at the club, whose fans will get the chance to see him in action when a Huddersfield XI arrive for a midweek pre-season friendly, for which the date is still to be confirmed.
Prior to that, Littleton – who will kick-off the new campaign in the newly-formed Midland Football League Division One – have a home friendly against Kidderminster on Saturday (3pm), for which admission is £5 for adults.
Then follows the visit of Perrywood on July 19 before away matches against Bewdley Town on July 25 and Evesham United on July 29.
THE AGM of the Pershore Hospital Cup will be held on Sunday, July 20 at Pershore Town Football Club at 7pm.
Any team wishing to enter next season’s competition should ring Alan Barnett on 01386 860243. Application forms must be returned by August 31.
Meanwhile, Pershore Town have arranged numerous pre-season friendlies ahead of their campaign in the newly-formed Midland Football League Division One.
Town will be at home to the following sides on the dates which follow: Badsey Rangers (July 11, 7.30pm); Redditch United (July 15, 7.30pm); Evesham United (July 18, 7.30pm); Perrywood (July 26, 3pm); Malvern Town (July 29, 7.30pm).
