EVESHAM took the points on Saturday when scheduled hosts Pershore forfeited the Midlands Three West (South) encounter.
Evesham, who went the whole of November unbeaten, now have four successive league wins to their name.
Nathan Chambers’ side did manage to play some rugby on Saturday, prevailing 46-3 against Gloucestershire outfit Drybrook Reserves in a friendly as Wilf Watson, Dale Attwood, Ben Harrison and Stu Smart got amongst the scorers.
Second placed Evesham face an intriguing clash on Saturday when third placed Rugby Lions – who have climbed back up the leagues in recent seasons – are the visitors.
With just five points separating the top four, it is a key game as Evesham play their final home match of 2015.
