PETE LEWIS was victorious with a catch of 44lb when Evesham Jubilee Angling Society members fished on the Jubilee and Withies pools.
The top weight arrived on Jubilee 16, whilst runner-up was Andy Mitchell on Jubilee 18 with 35lb 7oz and third was Mark Birbeck on Jubilee 37 with 28lb 1oz.
Section winners were Ray Nosworthy (J21, 27lb 9oz), Steve Foster (J5, 27lb 3oz), Glyn Blewett (J39, 25lb 11oz) and Barry Blewett (W30, 17lb 6oz).
Meanwhile, Jubilee club chairman Steve Foster presented a cheque for £1,101.37 to St Richard’s Hospice representative Charlie Homer who attended the club’s presentation evening. This money has been raised by Jubilee members during the last year.
