LESLEY KEWLEY experienced every golfer’s dream when she sunk a hole-in-one on the ninth at Evesham Golf Club on Tuesday.
It may have been damp and dismal, but Kewley cared not as she enjoyed the memorable moment in the Stableford qualifier.
Some amazing scores came in to affect handicaps, but none greater than for Kewley who, playing with Pat Saville and Patsy Brumage, could not see where the ball had ended.
There was surprise for the trio when they discovered the ball had disappeared, leaving Kewley to thank her playing partners for their support and encouragement before finishing the round in awful conditions.
