TOP two Henley Forest of Arden and FC Wickhamford both progressed to the semi-finals of the Stratford Alliance Division One KO Cup after away wins.

Henley netted three first-half goals as they swept aside hosts Welford on Avon 3-1. Tom Byrom, captain Sam Churchley and Dan Hagyard scored for table-toppers Henley, with Dino Di Angelis replying.

Sam Ford bagged a hat-trick to help second-placed Wickhamford chalk up a 4-1 victory at Inkberrow Reserves. Ciaran Gilbert was also on target for the winners, with Robert Guy netting for Inkberrow.

Claverdon also booked their place in the last four after knocking out Bretforton OB 5-3 on penalties. The sides had drawn 3-3.

The remaining semi-final between Feckenham Reserves and FC Stratford HGC takes place on Saturday at the Studley Entaco ground.

The two sides met in Aquaid Division One league action last week, with Feckenham earning a 2-0 away win.

Division Two leaders GSH United needed penalties to get past Shipston Excelsior Reserves to reach the semi-finals of the Division Two KO Cup.

GSH, who have won all 13 league matches, drew 1-1 at Shipston, with Joe Frampton on target, but then sneaked through 6-5 on spot-kicks.

They will face AFC Stratford Town, the closest challengers in the league, in the last four after Town smashed in seven second half goals to win 8-2 at Blockley Sports.

Sam Jalowiecki bagged a hat-trick for Town, with further goals coming from Samuel Brefo, Toby Curran, Joshua Grice, George Spilsbury and Connor Upton. Freddie Eldridge and Javan Nurse were the Blockley scorers.

In league action, Omar Pennicott was a hat-trick hero to help South Redditch Athletic strengthen their grip on third place with a 7-1 success at home to Tysoe United. Benjamin Higgins, Daniel Montgomery and Louis McTighe scored their other goals.

Fourth-placed Inkberrow Reserves powered to a 5-0 win at FISSC Reserves thanks to goals from Tim Lees (2), Stuart Hall, Oli Wilkins and Ben Rogers.
