TWO pairs were tied for victory when Pershore Duplicate Bridge Club hosted another of its special Swiss Pairs events.
With one round to go the leaders were John Bracher and Roger Wady, who were four VP’s ahead of the field but three bad boards against the eventual joint winners cost them the match and they slipped to fifth overall.
At the finish Veronica Enticknap and Ronnie Moore and Sue Tadman and Rosemary Cannon were tied for first place.
