SOME fine scores were achieved despite the wet conditions when Evesham Golf Club seniors contested the David Taylor Flag competition on Monday.
The object of the event was to try to get as far round the course as possible having started on the 18th green before running out of shots.
The winner was Dave Kewley who reached the 18th green for the second time in his round.
Not far behind was runner-up Roger Holmes and third was Derek Jackson.
