Ironfist Wrestling returns to the Vale

Evesham Editorial 11th Oct, 2017   0

IRONFIST Wrestling returns to Bengeworth Social Club on Saturday, October 21 for its final show of 2017.

Headlining the bill is a spectacular four-way contest entitled ‘Coin of the Gods’. The match will have an international talent as ‘Player Uno’ from Canada will be making his Ironfist debut.

Highly praised all around the world, Uno has wrestled for premier American independent promotions including Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Chikara.

UK stars Xander Cooper, Chris Brooks and Chris Ridgeway will be the other competitors. Cooper is no stranger to headlining an Evesham show after headlined the last two but, having coming up short the previous times, can he turn his luck around?

The winner of the contest will secure ‘The Coin of the Gods’, providing them with a Championship opportunity any time they see fit.

Co-headlining is the biggest women’s match in Ironfist history as no less than eight women compete in a Mount Olympus Challenge match for the coveted Ironfist Women’s Championship.

Champion Mel Price will have her work cut out as the likes of Xia Brookside (just back from a three-month tour of Japan), Zoe Lucas, Domina, Athena and Luna will be hungry for gold. Newcomers Sofia Ari and Kaggy will be keen to cause upsets too.

Also scheduled to compete are Portugal’s Shanna and returning favourites Killian Jacobs, Joey Scott and ‘The Hatter’ Chris Royals. Doors are at 6.30pm with first bell 7.30pm.

Tickets are available by ringing 07540 696297, through the Ironfist Facebook page or by calling into Bengeworth Social Club.
