DOUG SMITH continued his excellent form to win the Jubilee AC match along the Blackpole stretch of the Birmingham/Worcester canal.
On a very cold day, only a few fish were caught with only two anglers catching over a pound of fish.
Smith took first place with 3lb 8oz, ahead of second-placed Mark Birbeck on the next peg with 2lb 5oz.
The rest of the field struggled for bites but John Swain and Alan Gardner were the best of the rest. Both won their sections, Swain taking 14oz and Gardner 12oz.
