DAVID Hudson won The Vale Golf Club seniors’ Kirkpatrick Cup and Division Two in the process thanks to an impressive performance.
Eighty-eight players competed in dry and sunny conditions in this Stableford event and it was Hudson who topped the pile on an ever-improving course with 43 points.
Division One was won by Richard Heath with 37 points, followed by Ian Macrae with 35.
Second, third and fourth places in Division Two were taken by Patrick Staines with 39 points, Bernard Rayner with 38, on countback, and Jim Knowles with 38.
John Scott headed Division Three with 40 points, followed by Mike Coote with 37, Geoff Mayneord with 36 and Bob Foster with 35.
Nearest the pin and nearly a hole in one was Division One winner Heath.
