HONEYBOURNE won the last final in this year’s 40th anniversary Wychavon Parish Games as they defeated Evesham Bengeworth in the men’s darts.
As with many of the finals this year, this proved to be an exciting evening, with many of the games going down to the deciding leg.
With the scores matched at two games all, Honeybourne captain Dave Brocks managed to overcome his Bengeworth opponent to win the trophy for his side for the first time.
Many of the competitors will be joining VIPs and sponsors at the presentation evening, which is being held at Bretforton Sports Club on Thursday evening. The chairman of Wychavon District Council and his consort will be there to present the major trophies.
