PERSHORE Duplicate Bridge Club recently held its annual handicap event in memory of one of its founder members, Michael Farey.
The victors were Liz and club chairman Alan Boyes who prevailed in a keenly contested, but friendly, event.
Their score of 61.22 per cent was netted down after handicap to 59.22 per cent which was still sufficient for them to win the trophy, presented to them by Gill Mitchell, the director of the evening.
Runners-up were Alf and Dorrie Manders with a nett score of 58.40 per cent.
