AN EVESHAM Golf Club quartet braved Sunday’s sweltering conditions to compete in the Longest Day Golf Challenge 2017 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
They completed the 72-hole marathon between 5am and 9pm, covering approximately 40km. With two best Stableford scores counting, the Evesham players accrued an excellent total of 347 points, raising £860 for the charity.
