BROADWAY Golf Club welcomed members and visitors to the club’s annual Christmas Scramble Open event.
A field of 104 golfers, comprising players from clubs from across the county, took part in the competition.
The home team of Richard Cox, Will Icke, Richard Preen and Paul Whelan triumped in the men’s event.
The foursome returned a 58 nett score which included an eagle, 13 birdies and four pars.
And Broadway’s Sue Barker, Camilla Haines, Irene Hawkes and Vicky Watkins won the ladies title with a 65 nett score.
A gentle breeze greeted the golfers on the course over 18 holes as all four team players teed off and selected their best drive.
The teams continued in Texas scramble style until the final putt dropped into the hole.
Club captain Nigel Robinson presented the winners with their prizes and seasonal treats.
