THE HONEYBOURNE-based Goodflex Rubber Company team triumphed in a corporate hockey event organised by hosts Stratford Hockey Club.
The eight-strong Goodflex squad defeated Listers in their first match as Hannah Dufty starred and then saw off H.L. Barnes & Sons in a game in which Mark Dufty was man of the match.
Goodflex faced Aston Martin in their final group one game and Natalie Benwell, Matthew Grumball and Matt Osborne were all in good form as the Vale side secured a 3-0 victory.
Goodflex were into the final, in which they faced group two winners and reigning champions NFU.
This was the most difficult match of the night for Goodflex but, with Dan New impressive in goal, they achieved a 1-0 win to secure the title.
Goodflex scored 12 goals across their four matches, with Vanessa Dufty and Stuart Bearcroft leading the way.
